Grand Roy Pan Angels to lead off in Junior Panorama 2009

July 31st, 2009 -- Lewis Construction Grand Roy Pan Angels yesterday picked the number one spot and will now appear in first position when this year's Junior Panorama Competition takes place on Saturday August 1st at the National Stadium. In second position will be Republic Bank Angel Harps while reigning Junior Panorama Champions and winners of the competition for the past two years, LIME Commancheros will appear in third position. Appearing in fourth position is going to be Rainbow City All Stars with Digicel West Side Symphony performing in fifth position and AGD Signs Wiz Kids playing in sixth position.

This years competition sees the return of Rainbow City All Stars and Digicel West Side Symphony (formerly Florida All Stars) to Junior Panorama making 2009 one of the bigger years in recent times in terms of the number of Junior steelbands performing at the competition.

The junior panorama competition is part of the Children's Carnival Frolic which also features the Junior Mas Bands and the Junior Calypso Monarch competitions.
